All speed and consumption figures are to be considered as "about" [ "about" means - 0.5 knot for "speed" and +/- 5 % for "consumptions" ] Vessels speed guaranteed up to beaufort scale force 4/douglas sea state 3 ,defined as a total combined sea and swell height not exceeding 1.25 mtrs, with periods of adverse currents to be expressly excluded, and favorable current effect not to be applied. Any underperformance claim must be based only on the good weather periods, and the good weather performance speed cannot be applied over the entire voyage distance. During voyage within heavy traffic areas or piracy avoidance routes, such as Indian territorial waters ; Charterers are not to apply any underperformance claim due to plenty of fishing nets/boats /traffic congestion on the route of such area and vessel is not liable to report maneuverings made within such area. This period of voyage is not considered as good weather even if actually it is. Diesel Generators / Boilers will also burn MGO/DMZ during starting and stopping operations for one hour or sufficient time to flush the Fuel Oil System. Vessel Has liberty to consume LSMGO/DMZ all Saudi Arabian ports Red Sea , Arabian Sea during port stay Vessel has liberty to consume MGO/DMZ when Manoeuvring in shallow, narrow, busy and restricted waters, canals, rivers, in / out ports, during bad weather.
