EPC CONSIDERATIONS (TURN KEY PROJECT)
At this time and with without knowing, among other factors, the exact locations where the Siemens Industrial Gas turbines will be installed or the infrastructure that exists at those locations or the living facilities that the technicians will utilize when setting up the power structure or the methods that will be used to transport both the turbines and the technical personnel, we can only give you a general estimate of the expenses related to this EPC (turn key) project.
Once we have reached a purchase agreement with you through the signing of a Letter of Intent and having received the payment of a 15% down payment on the Ex Works value of the equipment, we will introduce you to the company that we have frequently used in the past to handle these types of installations. You would then negotiate a separate contract with them and we will make certain that the quoted values are realistic. It goes without saying that Siemens will agree to supervise the execution of the installation and will be present when this labor is finalized and the turbines are turned on. Each turbine comes with a full Siemens OEM warranty
Based on an experience that we’ve had with a project in Morocco, we can very broadly estimate that the entire turn key expense (not counting the cost of the turbines themselves) will be of approximately US$ 4,500,000 per turbine. Please be aware that this amount can be very different depending on the aforesaid factors.
PAYMENT TERMS and INSPECTION
A 20% down payment is required upon the execution of the Purchase Sale Agreement. This amount is non-refundable unless the equipment is not as represented.
The balance of the funds will be due upon notification of readiness to ship.
Inspection of the turbines can take place at a Siemens facility in Europe.
Siemens will NOT send any video or photos of equipment in their warehouses so please DO NOT ask
To proceed with the closing of the sale, we will kindly request that you help us complete a Know Your Customer document.
Thanking you in advance for taking our proposal into consideration and placing ourselves at your entire disposition to answer any doubts that you may have, we send you our best regards,
