Procurement Request for 6 Gas Turbine Units



We are acting on behalf of a recognized employer in the Sultanate of Oman and are seeking to procure six (6) gas turbine units conforming to the following specifications.

The required nominal power output under ISO conditions should be between 27.5 and 32.5 megawatts. The units must be suitable for exhaust gas utilization to install a Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) and be applicable for Combined Heat and Power (CHP) or Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP) configurations.



A complete package is essential. This includes all major subsystems such as the Balance of Plant (BOP), excitation system, battery bank, starting device (engine or diesel generator), step-up and auxiliary transformers, Motor Control Centers (MCCs), and necessary spare parts for the commissioning period.



An integrated control system for centralized plant control room operation, along with a local control system for each unit, is mandatory. The possession of HV/MV switchgear or an integrated power plant substation will be considered a significant advantage.



The manufacturer brand must be either General Electric (or manufactured under license) or Siemens. The cumulative operating hours for each unit must not exceed 20,000 hours, and the year of manufacture must be 2015 or newer.



For units that have been retired from service, the supplier must provide a comprehensive maintenance log sheet for buyer review prior to any inspection. The price for the buyer is a (Free On Board at the sellers country port) this final price must inclusively cover all costs for disassembly, packaging, inland transportation to the port, and all port handling charges until the unit is loaded onto the vessel or Ex work (AS is Where is)



Prior to the initiation of commercial negotiations, the seller is required to provide all necessary supporting documentation. This includes periodic inspection reports, records of major overhauls, and operational data logs (such as vibration, power output, frequency), as well as nameplate photos of major equipment clearly showing the manufacturing year and rated capacity.
