1. SCOPE OF SUPPLY



The purchase scope includes the following items:



· Two Solar Titan T130 Gas Turbine Generators (skid mounted)



· Two ABB generators AM130 1000LM (skid mounted) – 11 kV – 50 Hz



· Two Donaldson Air Intake systems



2. EQUIPMENT DESCRIPTION



2.1 Gas Turbine Generators



Each of the two Solar Titan 130 GTGs is designed to generate 15.2MW of electricity based on Natural Gas.



The Gas Turbines were installed for the project and the commissioning work was



completed. They were operated for a very short time for test purposes and then stopped due to fuel supply problems. All units passed protection and PM routines when they were not operating.



The GTGs are controlled via the local Solar Supplied PLC. This includes all safety related functionality. The Air Products Basic Process Control System (BPCS) communicates with the Solar PLC feeding set points to and receiving alarms from the Solar PLC.



The GTGs are designed to take a significantly wider range of fuel stocks than a typical Solar Titan GTG.

Generator Control and Monitoring System



Integrated monitoring and control of the generator is provided using a specially designed module in the PLC. The system includes Automatic Synchronizing, Motorized Voltage Adjust, KW Controller and KVAR/Power Factor Controller.

Gas Turbine Skid Stainless Steel Enclosure



Weatherproof sound attenuating Stainless Steel enclosure, with all construction and ancillary skid on the roof to support the Air Inlet Filtration and the exhaust silencer.

Reducing Vent Silencers and Exhaust Fan



Three reducing vent silencers with fire shutters and exhaust fan.

Fire detection and suppression system



Eagle Premier Fire Monitor with CO2 Suppression, UV flame detectors, and rate of rise thermal detectors will be used to detect enclosure fires; The Fire monitor will control the release of the Main and extended release CO2 systems and send signals to shutdown the turbine.

Inlet System



Barrier Filter and Silencer. To be mounted on ancillary skid on the roof of the enclosure

Exhaust System



Exhaust bellows and silencer. Suitable for industrial site standards. To be mounted on the ancillary skid.
