The unit is in like-new condition and has seen very limited to no operation. A recent Health Audit by Orient Energy Systems (OES) confirms that all major electrical, mechanical and chemical systems are in good working order; only a few small items are flagged for age-based preventive replacement as per OEM recommendations. I have attached the full OES report along with photos of the chiller and nameplate for your review.

For context, new flue-gas and hot-water absorption chillers in this capacity range are typically budgeted in the order of USD 600,000 to 1,200,000 ex-works, depending on specification and scope, with indicative manufacturing lead times of around 4–6 months from major OEMs. By comparison, this approx. 2,000 kW (˜570 TR) Shuangliang unit is available ex-Karachi at an asking price of USD 370,000 on an as-is-where-is basis, offering a substantial reduction (almost 40% based on the range minimum!!) in upfront CAPEX as well as the ability to deploy capacity immediately rather than waiting for a new build.
