Clients requirement
Clients requirement
please use the following parameters:
1. Required capacity
Our immediate requirement is approximately 30 MW total installed generation capacity.
Ideally, we would prefer one unit in the approximately 25–35 MW range, although we can consider a multi-unit configuration if it provides a better technical and economic solution.
60 Hz is mandatory.
We strongly prefer equipment originally manufactured/configured for 60 Hz rather than equipment requiring a major 50-to-60 Hz conversion.
2. Fuel requirement
Dual fuel is a priority requirement.
Preferred configuration:
Natural Gas + Diesel/Liquid Fuel.
We want the plant to retain the ability to generate with liquid fuel if natural gas is unavailable.
Please clearly identify the exact fuel capability of every unit offered.
3. Equipment condition
We can consider:
New/unused surplus equipment;
Low-hour used equipment in excellent condition;
Properly overhauled equipment with documented maintenance history and remaining life.
For used equipment, operating hours, starts, maintenance history and borescope/condition reports will be important.
4. Preferred technology
We are particularly interested in proven 60 Hz dual-fuel gas turbines, including equipment in the class of:
GE TM2500+ / TM2500+ Gen 6, GE LM2500+G4, PW/FT8 or technically equivalent equipment.
Other reputable OEM solutions can certainly be considered if they meet the technical and commercial requirements.
5. Voltage
Preferred generator output is 13.8 kV.
We can also evaluate 11 kV or another medium-voltage configuration if the overall solution is attractive.
6. Delivery
Availability is important. We prefer equipment that is immediately available or capable of being delivered on a short schedule.
Please indicate actual availability, present location, dismantling/packing status and realistic delivery schedule.
7. Budget
We do not want to establish an artificial maximum budget before knowing the equipment, condition and scope being offered.
Our objective is to acquire the best technically suitable 30 MW solution at a commercially competitive market price.
We will evaluate CAPEX on a USD/kW basis together with equipment age, hours, condition, remaining life, fuel flexibility, efficiency, included balance of plant and installation requirements.
Therefore, please send us the best opportunities available rather than filtering them against an arbitrary budget ceiling.
8. Scope
Preference will be given to complete generation packages including generator, controls, excitation, protection, starting system, fuel systems, inlet/exhaust systems and the principal auxiliaries necessary for installation and operation.
End-user country: Ecuador.
Regarding the W701DS/TG50D5 units, we understand from your technical investigation that conversion from 50 Hz to 60 Hz would require a speed increaser and new generator and would not have Siemens OEM support. Consequently, those particular units are not presently our preferred solution.
What we would now particularly appreciate from your network is an original 60 Hz, dual-fuel, approximately 25–35 MW unit with immediate availability and competitive pricing.
If you locate such equipment, please send it to us immediately for evaluation.
