Poseidon, is a unit to process the flow that runs from an offshore well. This flow is composed of: (a). sea ??water, (b). gas and (c). Crude oil. Ideally, Poseidon can operate in the "early production" of an offshore well. It operates in the following way:



1. Positioning



2. Connection to well through hoses that exist on board



3. Process flow separating:



a. Water to return it to the sea (EPA standard),



b. Separation of the gas for reinjection or transfer to a gas pipeline and



c. Separation of crude oil for transferring onto a tanker or pipeline



4. Storage capacity is marginal. The crude oil production passes to an onboard tank that serves as a buffer, from where it must be pumped to a tanker/oil pipeline.



5. The production capacity ranges from 8,000 bbl/day to 30,000 bbl/day, depending on the API of the crude oil and the GOR (Gas Oil Ratio) of the crude oil.



6. For a crude oil with an API Gravity of 15, it can produce around 8,000 bbl/day



7. For a crude oil with an API Gravity of 35, it can process around 25,000 bbl/day



8. Attached is a graph that correlates API Gravity / GOR with production. See attached.



The recommendation is that buyer assigns experienced crude oil process engineers to evaluate the equipment aboard Poseidon.



To carry out these operations it is necessary to add to the existing equipment pumps to pump the crude oil or reinject the gas. In each case, depending on the characteristics of the crude oil and the way in which it is intended to operate, the additional equipment may vary, for this reason it is essential that an inspection be carried out by experienced engineers.
