Oil & Gas TOTAL Lindsey Oil Refinery

Total Lindsey Oil Refinery is currently Britain’s third largest oil refinery. The site

required the CEM AC2000 access control and security management system to

secure its 24 hour operational processing units, laboratory, gates and external

administration buildings. Total Lindsey Oil Refinery incorporates some of the most

technically advanced refining and conversion processes available in Europe. As

security at the refinery is of paramount importance, the system has enabled Total

Lindsey Oil to maximize security and create an efficient and totally secure, self

contained site. The 500 acre site has over 1500 cardholders and uses over 70

CEM Ethernet card readers, CEM portable readers and a range of AC2000

software modules, including a Zone Monitor application and a Mustering

module. The In Zone and Muster report’s generated from this module enable

the emergency services to determine who if anyone is still in the danger area in

the event of a hazard.
