We are currently seeking Energy project funding for a hydro power energy project in Nepal that is fully ready for construction. A Nepalese local bank has formally committed to financing up to 75% of the total project cost. We are now seeking an investor or lender to fund the remaining 25%, equivalent to USD 15 million.



A banking consortium is already in place to support the project.



The Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) has been finalized for both components of the project—21 MW and 41.1 MW, totaling 62.1 MW. All necessary government approvals and permits have been secured, including:



Generation license



Grid connection agreement



Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) clearance



Project Summary

This proposal outlines the construction and operation of a 62.1 MW hydroelectric project in Nepal. The financial request is structured in USD.



Funding Terms & Structure

The Investor/Lender agrees to finance the Borrower, and the Borrower agrees to receive funding for a principal amount of USD 15 million, which may be structured either as a loan or as part of a Joint Venture (JV), subject to mutually agreed terms and a formal agreement.



Key Terms:

Collateral : PPA of the Government



Local Bank loan prepared : 75% of the project cost



Expected Interest Rate: 4.5% per annum



Grace Period: 2 years



Loan Tenure: 10 years



Total Term (including grace period): Up to 12 years



Repayment Terms: Repayment begins after the grace period. Early repayment is permitted at any time without penalty.



Repayment & Amortization Commitment

The Borrower unconditionally and irrevocably commits to repay the loan as per the following terms
