Rare Find! 1934 Cat 22 Crawler



Stored indoors. Display at events. (the SP stand for special product, which means it was equipped from factory with a non-standard option – in this case would be the electric start option). You can start it by either the manual front crank, or the electric start. The tractor does not charge the battery when running– so what I do is put a battery on a trickle charger and hook battery up anytime. The machine is hooked directly up to the 2 gallon gas tank on machine (Cat 22s have a 2 gallon gas tank and a 20 gallon tank that was supposed to hold kerosene, a selling feature back in the 1930s was that you could start on gasoline, then flip a switch once engine was warm and run tractor all day on kerosene which was a much cheaper fuel.) the oil pressure gauge on dash seems to operate, the temp gauge on dash does not seem to operate. Tracks overall are pretty good – no bushings show wear. Video available!!!
