to Ecuador of the Wärtsilä W18V32 generator

WANTED

• Five Wärtsilä W18V32 engines, manufactured in 2000 or younger

• Engine rating: 7,290 kW (kilowatts; power-unit reference) each

• ABB (Asea Brown Boveri; manufacturer reference) AMG1120MR10

alternators, reportedly 7,050 kWe (electrical kilowatts) each

• 13.8 kV (kilovolts; voltage reference), 60 Hz (hertz; frequency

reference), 720 rpm (revolutions per minute; speed reference)

• HFO (Heavy Fuel Oil; technical reference: residual fuel) with

diesel/MDO (Marine Diesel Oil; technical reference: marine distillate

diesel) start-stop capability

• Market information conflicts between five complete sets and four

complete sets plus the fifth dismantled for spares

1. STOCK AND IDENTITY

• Confirm the exact number of complete generator sets physically

available today.

• State which of the five engine numbers above you control or are

authorized to offer.

• Identify which engine, if any, was dismantled for spares and provide

its remaining-parts inventory.

• Provide a signed engine-to-alternator serial-number matrix and

current dated nameplate photographs.

• Confirm whether your offer is the same asset as other listings for

five 2001 W18V32 units or a genuinely different lot.



2. EXACT LOCATION AND SELLER AUTHORITY

• Give the country, city, full warehouse/site address, nearest export

port and name of the physical custodian.

• Provide a warehouse receipt, storage invoice or custodian letter

identifying the serial numbers.

• Provide a live video appointment showing the exterior location,

date, all engine and alternator plates, auxiliaries and crates. Please

include a GPS (Global Positioning System; logistics reference:

geographic coordinates) pin.

• Identify the current legal owner. State whether your company is the

owner, exclusive mandatary, non-exclusive broker or marketplace.

• Provide documentary authority to sell and disclose whether other

brokers are marketing the same machines.

• Confirm whether the units originate from Ennet Maizuru and provide

the chain of title, removal/export record and BL (Bill of Lading;

logistics reference: transport document) from Japan, if available.

• If owner identity requires confidentiality, please state the exact

confidentiality procedure and arrange direct owner/custodian

confirmation after basic asset verification.



3. CONDITION, HOURS AND MAINTENANCE

• Current hour-meter reading and starts for every engine, with

photographs or controller downloads.

• Last operating date, shutdown reason and hours on HFO versus diesel/MDO.

• Maintenance performed in May/June 2014, later operation,

major/top-end overhaul history and current preservation records.

• Known defects, corrosion, missing or cannibalized parts, alarms,

open piping/cabling and recommended repairs.

• Current photographs and unedited videos of every unit, alternator,

control cabinet and auxiliary module.



4. SCOPE OF SUPPLY

• Detailed line-by-line inventory and packing list, including

quantities and condition.

• Clearly mark all exclusions.

• Confirm the BOP (Balance of Plant; technical reference: auxiliary

systems): controls, synchronization/protection, switchgear, HFO

treatment, purifiers, heaters, booster/conditioning module, diesel

changeover, pumps, tanks, cooling, lubrication, starting air,

exhaust/silencers, cables, transformers, tools, manuals and spares.

• Confirm whether the complete electrical output is 7,050 kWe per set,

or 35.25 MWe (electrical megawatts) for five, rather than the 36.45 MW

mechanical engine rating advertised.



5. INSPECTION, TESTS AND WARRANTY

• Permit independent inspection by the buyer, Wärtsilä/ABB or another

qualified inspector before payment and shipment.

• State whether the machines can be started at their present location

and tested at no load, available load or load bank.

• List available tests, cost and duration: visual/inventory

inspection, borescope, crankshaft deflection, compression or peak

pressure, oil/coolant analysis, vibration, alternator insulation

resistance and polarization index, winding resistance, excitation,

relay, synchronization and trip testing.

• Provide the proposed FAT (Factory Acceptance Test; technical and

contractual reference: witnessed pre-shipment acceptance test),

pass/fail criteria, signed report and remedy/retest obligations if

defects are found.

• State warranty provider, scope, duration, trigger, exclusions and

available supervision for initial start-up in Ecuador.



6. PRICE AND IMPORT LOGISTICS

• Quote your current seller asking price and best net price: per

complete set, for all four complete sets, and for the entire

five-unit/spares package.

• Separate equipment price, broker commission, testing, repairs,

packing, inland transport and export costs.

• Quote EXW (Ex Works; Incoterms reference: seller-site delivery), FOB

(Free on Board; Incoterms reference: loaded at export vessel) and CIF

Guayaquil (Cost, Insurance and Freight; Incoterms reference: freight

and insurance to Guayaquil).

• State offer validity, payment terms and acceptable protected payment

mechanism.

• Identify the actual country of export, port of loading,

dimensions/weights, lifting plan, seaworthy packing method, export

permits, certificate of origin, commercial invoice and packing-list

availability.

• Give optimistic, expected and conservative durations for inspection,

document approval, repairs/retest, preservation/packing, inland

transport, export clearance, vessel booking and ocean transit to

Guayaquil.



7. FUEL COMPATIBILITY FOR ECUADOR

Please confirm by engine number whether continuous operation is

acceptable on Ecuador Fuel Oil No. 6: viscosity 510–600 cSt

(centistokes; viscosity-unit reference) at 50 °C, sulfur maximum 2.50%

mass, ash maximum 0.20% mass, flash point minimum 60 °C and pour point

maximum 15 °C. Start/stop fuel will be Ecuadorian Diesel Premium

Industrial: density 815–860 kg/m³ at 15 °C, viscosity 2.0–5.0 cSt at

40 °C and flash point minimum 51 °C. Final acceptance will depend on

an actual batch CoA (Certificate of Analysis; fuel-quality reference).



COMMERCIAL FRAMEWORK

This is a non-binding due-diligence and quotation request, not a

purchase offer. If the asset, title, condition, scope, price and

inspection rights are satisfactorily verified and the project is

awarded, our target is to complete the purchase process approximately

30 calendar days after written approval from all involved departments.



The final customers identity, PPA (Power Purchase Agreement;

contractual reference: electricity-sale agreement), permits, budget

and POF (Proof of Funds; financial reference: evidence of available

funds) are confidential and are not being represented or provided at

this preliminary stage. We are not requesting seller financing.
