General:

Our unique Armour System is designed to protect the driver and the passengers from high-level ballistic multi-impact attacks with military weapons, explosives and blast fragmentation. The external appearance of our armoured SUV is identical to the OEM base vehicle. Opaque Armour: The Inside Safe Box System: This System provides full protection for the complete vehicle interior, providing the highest ballistic protection against explosives and rifle attacks.

This fully welded ballistic inside cage system is made from Thyssen Secure german ballistic steel.



Overlap system:



Substantial overlaps for all opaque and transparent areas, with all gaps ballistically sealed with spall liners around the window apertures and all five doors. Floor protection: Our Thyssen Secure 100% steel floor design provides greatly enhanced protection from grenade attacks (2 x DM51 grenades / 2x HG85).



Roof protection:



The roof steel protection system includes a 90° ballistic impact angle (BRV 2009 VR7 and the CEN standard only requires 45°). The roof steel protection also provides enhanced protection against blast attacks (1x HG85 or 2DM51 grenades). Fuel Tank: Thyssen Secure armoured steel protection from blast attacks.



NON-STEPPED GLAZING SYSTEM

Glazing:



The ``No-Step Glazing System``, is fitted in solid tailor made steel frames to avoid cracking on the glass edges, and to guarantee that the windows are held in place in the event of an attack. “No-Step Glazing System“ “Stepped Glazing System“ Most armoured vehicles made by other manufactures are equipped with stepped armoured glazing, fitted to the original base vehicle window frames (front, doors rear sides and rear). It is a very ineffective, cheap method just to remove the original glazing and then fit the armoured glazing (on the outside steps) into the original frames. If stepped glazing is installed in an armoured car, all the heavy weight from the armoured glazing just hangs on the tiny outside step from the armoured glazing package. The stepped glazing is not properly fixed and there is a big risk, in the event of blast attack, that the blast pressure will force the windows out of the frames.
