Ballistic Specifications



BR6 level are armoured using materials, both opaque and transparent , that meet or exceed the requirements of the European CEN 1522/23 and CEN 1 0 63 standards to the level FB6 for opaque areas and BR6 for transparent areas .



Armouring:



All four sides of the passenger compartment and the roof of the vehicle are protected using high - quality armour steel and glass defeating 7.62x51mm M80 Nato Ball ammunition (U . S . NIJ level III, CEN level FB6/BR6) and 5.56x45 SS1 0 9 ammunition (CEN level FB5/BR5 and FB6/BR6) at 0 ° incidence (9 0 ° to the surface) and 1 0 m range according to CEN1 0 63 and CEN1522 .



Opaque Areas:



All opaque areas including the roof are protected against the following and all lesser weapons/ ammunitions at 9 0 ° impact angle in accordance with the above specifications.

Floor (Enhanced Floor Protection)



The floor of the vehicle is designed to defeat the following:



Two DM 51 hand grenade (German Norm) detonated simultaneously

1x HG85 (equivalent to M67 Grenade) under vehicle



In addition , the floor also offers protection against anti-personnel mines.



Roof (Enhanced Roof Protection)



The Roof of the vehicle is designed to defeat the following:



2x DM51 Hand Grenade Placed directly on the roof

1x HG85 Hand Grenade (Equiv . to M67 Grenade) Placed directly on the roof

2x HG85 Hand Grenades (Equiv . to 2xM67 grenades) placed directly on the roof



Armouring design:



The armoring is integrated inside the vehicles cab and forms a complete self-supporting structure so as to avoid excessive stress on the vehicles original structure.

The interior armor - frame provides overlap for the large-surface armor components such as the door armor-plates and the windows.

Hinge mounting points are reinforced both in the pillars and in the doors in a way that the armoring of the door is supported by the armoring of the pillar.

Heavy-duty hinges with in-built door - stop .



Fuel-tank(s) protected with steel armor-plates .



The battery and control module of the engine are protected to the same level as the opaque areas.

Armoured Glass: We use high quality Glass produced by Lumi (Emirates) Glass

Armoured Steel: We use high quality certified ballistic steel produced by Swebor (Sweden) /

Quardian(Belgium)



Heavy duty Suspension: We use high quality Out back/ Dobinson/Ironman HD suspension (Australia ) for our vehicles.

Run - flats: Hutchinson (USA)/ APC (Mexico) / Europlast (Germany) / Safe Sure (India) Run flats are inserted in all tires including spares.

Test Reports/ Product Liability:



All materials used in the production of the cabin were successfully tested against projectiles and explosives by independent laboratories . Test reports can be presented upon request or during a factory visit. The armoring of the vehicle provides protection against a wide range of projectiles and explosives. However, complete protection is not possible for reasons of design and modern military weapon technology .

ARMORING DESIGN

An armouring certificate confirming the level of protection will be issued by SHELL Special Vehicles LLC in addition to the international certifications of the armouring components used in

the manufacturing process



Warranty and after sales service



The entire vehicle carries a one - year or 2 0000 KM warranty on all components not including lubricants and parts which are subject to normal wear and tear, provided the vehicle is serviced according to the maintenance schedule in a Shell Armored Vehicles-approved workshop. In the event of a problem occurring that cannot be resolved by local technicians, a member of our service team will be available to assist or travel to the location of the vehicle to carry out the repair. Services under the warranty will be provided free of charge to the customer upon immediate written notification by either the authorised Toyota dealer or the vehicle owner. It is left to our discretion to replace or repair parts that have become unusable as a result of proven defects in design, material or workmanship. Replaced parts become our property .



Pricing:

Price Per Unit, Ex work RAK UAE : USD 87,500. 00 Delivery

10 units will be ready for delivery within 30 working days from confirmation of the order.



Payment terms:

Price quoted ex - works RAK , UAE and freight charges extra .

90% of the contract value to be paid at the time of order and balance 10% before delivery and within 7 days of notification of vehicle completion.

Failure of payment completion or delay in document submission may result in additional storage , finance charges , or VAT/Customs duty as applicable

Validity : 15 Days

General Terms and Conditions of Business apply . Completed vehicles remain the property of Shell Special Vehicles until receipt of full payment.

UAE law is applicable.



Documents / Shipping / Delivery:

Armored Vehicle will be ready in 30 working days ex - factory . MOFA approval is at the sole discretion of the UAE Government and may take up to 2 weeks or more . Shell Special Vehicles LLC shall not be held responsible for any delay for the same. In case export documentations not feasible from UAE, the production of armored vehicles will be shifted to Jordan Facility .

Customer/Client/Agent should provide all the necessary documents required for export approval from the government , such as NOC letter or End-user certificate, etc .

5% VAT is Applicable- If shell is not exporting the vehicle & If Invoice to local company .

Shell Special Vehicles LLCs vast connections with shipping agencies allow us to ship vehicles almost anywhere in the world cost - effectively . Note that this shipping charge will be mentioned in the pricing quote given above if the customer requests shipping .

The customer/agent has to take responsibility for the vehicles after the delivery to the shipping - port requested . The clearance of the customs in the respective countries is the sole responsibility of the customer/agent

No Objection Certificate from Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the End Users country.

Passport Copy with validity page and Companys Trade License Copy should be attested by the embassy / Consulate of End-user country.

Original End User Statement issued/stamped by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the End Users country and addressed “To Whom It May Concern” (template to be provided by Seller).

No Objection Certificate from the Consulate/ Embassy of End User Country in UAE/ GCC addressed to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs UAE

All above documents should be attested from UAE embassy / Consulate .



General Terms and Conditions:

Completed vehicles remain the property of Shell Special Vehicles LLC until receipt of full payment.

Shell Special Vehicles LLC will assist every way possible for documents and approvals related

to the export of armored vehicles from UAE (MOFA UAE , SIRA) upon receipt of the relevant certificates from the client-side .
