10 Caterpillar 3516B Diesel Generator Set

Originally acquired and installed in the Spring of 2001 to help meet power shortages in the Northwest U.S.

Package includes:

10 CAT 3516/3516B diesel engines with CAT SR4B 1640kW generators rated at 1.6 MW (continuous)

Drop-over enclosures

Scrubbers and/or factory mufflers

Fault resistors

Siemen Metal-clad 15kV switchgear

SINOx-NOX emissions abatement system.

All spare parts and materials, all manuals, testing, diagrams, and technical documents

All are 13.8KV and have 350 hours each.

Here the complete information of the CATs, are really 12 units.:and are assembly yet.

We have 10 Units available, which, when you look at the brochure they are the units listed as West. The hours listed in the brochure will be slightly more than listed as we have run at various times for testing emission systems or monthly start up but none of the units will have more than 100 hours over the hours listed. The brochure will also give you all the specs you will need to evaluate the units These 10 units are all runnable where they are located, so they can all be started and run. We do have all the emission reports that were done by a company that was testing to meet some stringent requirements for their Mine.



We also have 2 standalone units which are East side units which are units #1 and 2 as listed in the brochure. We have just recently load tested both these units but would need some time if we need to start for inspection.



Price for the 10 Units $7,250,000.00 USD Ex Works and $440,00.00 USD Each for the 2 Standalone units without switchgear, however we will need to know if you will require the enclosures, fuel delivery system, emission abatement system including urea tanks, doping units and scrubbers, as well as transformers, batteries etc. Once we know how complete a package you will require we can price accordingly. We have the ability to disassemble and move should you require at additional costs.



This package is complete, available now and is very low hour from new. We have spent money to have all units load tested, and to make sure they are all mechanically sound. As you know the the best way to realize exactly what all is included in this plant is to visit the site where they are located. We are prepared to negotiate on this package as well as discuss options for components, shipping and teardown. We also have a loading chart that was developed when we sold the first 8 units so we can furnish that as well should you require specific weights and dimensions.
