the owner’s agent in USA says the B747-400BCF only needs a C1 Check (+-30 day) and can then go back into operation. The reason they have not done the C1 check yet is due to the calendar time clock that will start to run if you complete the C1 Check before the aircraft is sold. Aircraft will this be delivered ready to fly within 30 days of buyer confirming the purchase. The current AOC holder will accommodate the new buyer by allowing the aircraft to operate under the Iceland AOC, so crew and load master will all be available.
